Honestly, everyone complaining about the game is getting kinda annoying. The forums are flooded with discussions all containing the same, hateful posts and flaming over Reborn.

Reborn still has some issues, yes. It might be glitchy, yes. If you don’t have the patience to wait it out, or deal with the curret issues, maybe wait? Don’t play Dota. Dota 2 reborn pentagrama No one is forcing you. The Reborn update has been coming for a long time. And it’s still in a beta phase, yes? Or early release, at least. Nothing is perfect. So of course there would be some issues. Everyone has problems. If you want to quit Dota because of Reborn, that’s your choice. You don’t have to tell us you’re quitting because of Reborn. It won’t change. And the majority of the community loves Reborn, anyway. Valve won’t be changing it back.

If you have bad ping, wait for them to fix it. If you play a match and it quits to desktop, don’t try another game and complain about how you got Low Priority because of it. If you lag, maybe you shouldn’t play another match, and rather wait, or ask if anyone has had similar problems, and then work out a solution. Instead of typing how ♥♥♥♥ Reborn is and how you hate it in all caps. I play on a potato, personally. And I can honestly say Reborn is an improvement over the original.

I don’t want to sound like some Dota 2 fan boy here. Though I love the game, I hate the community acting so negatively towards the new update. So please, before posting another discussion flaming and stuff, look around. See if anyone else has similar issues. If not, ask if there’s anything you can do. If not, wait it out. It’ll be fixed, eventually.

Ok, well not to be rude or anything but most people have plenty of reasons to complain and almost all of them are founded. That is to say, telling people that you have a potato of a PC and that you arent complaining isnt exactly grounds for you to stand on. People have a wide variation of computers and have all had one issue or another. they really have a right and even a duty to bash on what isnt good, because if they dont then there is no reason to fix the issues. After all, the squeeky wheel gets the oil. As far as your own issues with the game, I dont know if you have had any, forgive me for assuming you don’t (you didnt mention any in your comment) but long story short you really dont understand what people are going through. People put lots of money into this game and now it has all been for naught if they dont get a patch or a fix out. I personally havent put much money into the game but I have put some money into it, granted not as much as other people (which mostly allows me to keep a level head about the whole thing) but enough for me to feel worried about getting my money’s worth. I myself have had an issue with the game and voiced my opinions and searched extensively for a solution but to no avail. All Im saying is that people have instictively tried most of your tips and the rest of the ones they dont try are probably not logical at this point. The game development team should be the ones to fix any and all of the problems because they are the ones that induced it. So when you say people are getting annyoing when they are complaining just shows that, and again forgive me for assuming, you haven’t had any real issues that the rest of most people are having and are therefore ignorant to the issues they experience and consequentially have no real solutions to suggest. (I am in no way calling you an ignorant person just saying that this situation may not be fully comprehended by you or others who have had good experiences with the update.)

Thanks for your reply, and first off let me say I agree completely. I haven’t experienced half of the issues others have complained about. I have experienced some, yes. Some fo them game breaking. For instance, if I buy items, use abilities/items, they are used 3 times in quick succession. But I click once. A handful of people have experienced this along with me, but no one has any solution yet. I under stand people put time and money into this game. I have, too. And I love this game with all my heart. I understand that it’s their right to be upset when the game is broken, or if they can’t play. My was that maybe people didn’t have to spam the forums. Of course making yourself heard is important, and letting people know that others have the same issues is important, too. I was just tired of people flipping off Valve, while I know they must be trying hard to fix it, right. Right? I dunno. I love helping. I’ve provided tips in the past, but the forums seem to revolve about 2 things lately. How bad reborn sucks, and people cursing at Valve for breaking the game.

How ironic, the forum cannot stand anymore threads titled “Reborn”.

PS: And whole point of naming a thread “Reborn”, is pretty pointless. It’s the same as creating a thread called “Dota 2” in the Dota 2 discussions
