what the hell valve?
Honestly, switch to free avast! Anti-Virus and save yourself (and your PC) a headache. It’s decent protection (you’re even further protected from viruses on the Internet if you’re not a complete dumbass who downloads “free smileys”), and it has the lightest footprint on your system resources. PC focuses more energy on games than your stupid anti-virus bloatware background services. I haven’t had a single virus since then.
NIS only used about 50 MB of ram. cool story bro.

my point is that the footprint is small and it actualy works compaired to your freeware ad-riddled crap.

Clearly it doesn’t work if you’re getting false positives. And 50 MB ram isn’t really that great. http://i. imgur. com/iAzHTRG. png
There’s Avast while it’s running a scan in the background. The only “ads” it has is for you to upgrade to the pro version, which I’d recommend, for the price, but you can disable those.
Norton has always been pretty terrible, the only reason people even have it half the time is because it comes pre-installed on their system. It misses a lot of malware, and really doesn’t perform that well either. How much you paid for it is irellevant.
