EG take down C9 in two consecutive matches to finish first in WEC LAN finals

The Grand Final of WEC is now over, with Evil Geniuses taking down Cloud9 with a total score of 4-1 to earn the first place in the tournament. With their victory, they earn the $97,600 first place prize, while C9 will have to return home with $32,500.

WEC LAN Finals Day 3 – EG victorious in first series, gets the final to a second match

The final match series of WEC is currently under way to determine which team earns the gold in the tournament. With a 2-1 victory, Evil Geniuses managed to keep themselves in the race, taking the Grand Final to a second best-of-three match that will decide the champion.

WEC LAN Finals Day 2 – EG and Cloud9 are the WEC finalists

Two Western teams have reached the Grand Final of WEC, as Evil Geniuses took down both NewBee and ViCi Gaming in their respective best-of-three series with a 2-0 score. They will now face Cloud9 in the final match series tomorrow, with Cloud9 getting a WB advantage.
