Dota 2 vsync option 1
Dota 2 vsync option 1
FPS Cap is 60
I turned off all XBOX/DVR features, disabled VSYNC at Dota options menu and NVIDIA CP.
DX9/11 – same thing.
HW: gtx 1080, 7700k, 21:9 DELL 2560×1080 monitor, 60 hertz; OS: Windows 10 17134.81, nVidia driver 398.11.
Did someone have the same issue?
XBOX DVR is known to cap FPS on a certain level, I temporarily uninstalled this feature to see some sort of change to my fps, turns out it works. Don’t know if it’s helpful for high-end computers though. There’s some guide on how to temporarily disable/uninstall this feature to provide a better and sustainable FPS on games. Try googling it.
Turn off VSYNC? wtf are you using that for when you have a 1080?

Prolly cuz he has a 144hz monitor.
he says it’s 60 hertz. but VSYNC is forever 60fps?
OH!_ OP _
Under your NVidia Control panel, Turn OFF the compute optimization. This is for mining. Not gaming. Under 3D settings.

I’m kinda outdated, what and why people use a powerful graphic card for “mining”?

to get higher hash rates. and the ability to do it is there.. or say 4 years from now – someone who owns a GTX1080 today, can still mine with it in the future.
but the Compute Optimization is basically the difference between gaming and mining.
Hell yeah, reinstalled nvidia driver and everything works fine now. Thanks for the help!

nope, i have 60 hertz 21:9 P3418HW. I had some feeling about click response time. Now, w/ 120 fps it works better.

I believe only in GPUGRID and IBM WCG. 🙂 didn’t found that, hope that thing is turned off by default.

sometimes when you have a new nvidia geforce graphics card driver update on your geforce experience.
1) custom installation
2) tick “clean installation”
this will uninstall your current graphics card driver and erase the settings you put to default then they will install a “fresh” copy of it.
