Huskar, the Sacred Warrior – Emerging from the throes of the sacred Nothl Realm, Huskar opened his eyes to see the prodigal shadow priest Dazzle working a deep incantation over him. Against the ancient rites of the Dezun Order, Huskar’s spirit had been saved from eternity, but like all who encounter the Nothl he found himself irrevocably changed. No longer at the mercy of a mortal body, his very lifeblood became a source of incredible power; every drop spilled was returned tenfold with a fierce, burning energy. However this newfound gift infuriated Huskar, for in his rescue from the Nothl, Dazzle had denied him a place among the gods. He had been denied his own holy sacrifice. In time the elders of the order sought to expand their influence and Huskar, they agreed, would be a formidable tool in their campaign. Yet becoming a mere weapon for the order that denied him his birthright only upset him further. As the first embers of war appeared on the horizon, he fled his ancestral home to find new allies, all the while seeking a cause worthy of unleashing the power his total sacrifice could bring.

Jah’rakal, the Troll Warlord – It’s an easy thing to offend a troll. A prickly and contentious race, trolls thrive on argument and strife, missing no excuse to raise their voices in dispute. Males grow to maturity in subterranean chambers beneath their matriarch’s domicile, feeding and amusing themselves while contributing nothing. Often they stay for years beyond the age of maturity, while the matriarch provides them with sustenance. When young trolls are finally pushed from their sub-chamber, they gather with others of their kind, forming roving gangs of malcontents who complain loudly about all manner of vexation.
As much as trolls love to argue, imagine how rare it is for a troll to be driven from his own kind for being too difficult to get along with. Such was Jah’rakal’s fate, a monger troll from deep in the Hoven. So deluded was he, so bitter and abrasive, that even other trolls found his company intolerable. After one particularly vitriolic outburst in which he claimed the lion’s share of loot from their latest raid, his cohorts finally snapped. They turned on him, beat him with clubs, and drove him from the encampment. Enraged at his banishment, he returned the next day, armed with steel, and slew them all, one by one. He then swore a blood oath: he would ever after be a fighting force unto himself. Now he roams the world as the Troll Warlord, bitter and angry, the Imperial high commander of an army of one.

Nature’s Prophet/Lore

Nature’s Prophet
Associated with
Factions: Treant Guard
Gods: Verodicia
  • Nature’s Prophet has come to possess a sapphire gem left behind by Verodicia, as a ways to restore the world should it fall into chaos. [1]

Friendships and rivalries [ edit ]

Allies meeting Nature’s Prophet

  • Link▶️r Prophet, you and I will reclaim these woods.
  • Link▶️r Come Prophet, we are of like spirits.
  • Link▶️r My Prophet, we shall defend these lands.
  • Link▶️r Tell me what you see for us, Prophet.
  • Link▶️u Tell me what you see for us, Prophet.
  • Link▶️Link▶️r Just don’t go moving the trees when I need ’em, Prophet.
  • Link▶️Link▶️r Forcing trees to fight goes against their nature, Prophet.
  • Link▶️r You.. make.. tree-people… Okay P-prophet, I don’t think we can be friends.
  • Link▶️r Greetings, little tree.
  • Link▶️r Nature’s Prophet, your presence foretells our victory.

Enemies killing Nature’s Prophet

  • Link▶️ Nature’s Prophet? Nature’s loss.
  • Link▶️ What could be more natural than death, Prophet?
  • Link▶️ The woods have spoken, and they chose me.
  • Link▶️ Let’s put it to a vote.
  • Link▶️ Thus I confound the Prophet.
  • Link▶️ It was time to clear the underbrush.
  • Link▶️ My greatest prophet, I had to put you down.
  • Link▶️ Prophet, you turn against the one you should revere.
  • Link▶️ I prophesied your treachery.
  • Link▶️ You are no prophet of mine.
  • Link▶️ A forest fire begins.
  • Link▶️ Your minions, my fuel.
  • Link▶️Link▶️ Never trust a tree.
  • Link▶️ Two legged freak!
  • Link▶️ Nature’s Prophet…bleh…your life tastes like sap!
  • Link▶️Link▶️ Even you must respect my mission, Prophet.
  • Link▶️Link▶️ Why would the Prophet stand against me?
  • Link▶️Link▶️ I never thought the day would come that the Prophet’s blood stained my hands.
  • Link▶️ Oh, look — a petrified forest!
  • Link▶️Link▶️r Pulling root was your ruin, Prophet.
  • Link▶️Link▶️r Trees offer no protection from me.
  • Link▶️ It was in my nature to destroy you, Prophet.
  • Link▶️ False prophet!
  • Link▶️ What is this nature you speak of?
  • Link▶️ You call him Prophet. I call him roughage.
  • Link▶️ My lightning shattered that old stump.
  • Link▶️ So much greenery is unnatural.
  • Link▶️ I have no time for shrubbery.
  • Link▶️ What a shrub.
  • Link▶️ Your death was in this one’s nature, prophet.
  • Link▶️ When you strip away his leaves, Nature’s Prophet is just plain gnarly.
  • Link▶️ Stay awhile, Prophet!
  • Link▶️Link▶️Link▶️ Down with false prophets.
  • Link▶️Link▶️Link▶️ You’ll imprison no more in your ring of trees.
  • Link▶️ Trees do have a way of dying around me!
  • Link▶️ Your friends are next, Prophet!
  • Link▶️ Oh don’t die yet. I’m not finished with you.
  • Link▶️ Science: One. Nature’s Prophet: Nothing!
  • Link▶️ Nature’s profit, your loss!
  • Link▶️ By my bark!
  • Link▶️ That’s enough now, little tree.
  • Link▶️ I’ll sharpen my claws in your bark, Prophet!

Enemies dying to Nature’s Prophet

  • Link▶️r Your life shall be uprooted by a shaggier prophet than I.
  • Link▶️Link▶️ Defend your beard!

u cant not have it on primary with full screen, but fullscreen borderless window should be able to move it like it was any other application (for windows its win button + shift + arrow key in direction you want it to go). I move the game around my monitors on windows 8 doing that. One bug ive found though, if the taskbar isnt set to autohide itll cut a taskbar sized portion off the game when it moves, so set your taskbar to autohide and you should be good.

PERFECTION! Such a simple fix but works perfectly with every game including Dota thus far, thanks! (Borderless, the above, perfectly aligned like its a full-screen game on my second monitor which is not primary.)

win button + shift + arrow key

Mine isnt fully allign 😦

Question related to this topic:

I’m about to get a second monitor and i was wondering if i could set the second one to be just a blown up image of my main screen? I would do this to blow up the mini map part so i could actually see whats going on.

This isn’t breaking any kind of rules right? I don’t think it would.

Nice idea; maybe there is a better way or software for this but using what I know, I’m thinking the best way would be to use XSplit or FFsplit (broadcasting software) in combinaiton with DXtory (in some games using the broadcasting software with dxtory will mean little to no FPS loss, on my machine anyway). I’d full screen the broadcasting software, which is mirroring the monitor on the other screen (good method as build in gfx card method means resolutions on both screens must match).

The expanding the minimap part: in the broadcasting software you can set coordinates to lift a section of the screen rather than the full screen, just match the minimap coordinates and you should be good.

You can actually take multiple coordinates and in the broadcasting software set up players/sections blah blah blah, you could have a minimip as one half and something else as the other, pretty neat idea you came up with i must try it in some games see if it works sometime 😛

Sorry for the rushed reply 😛

Dota 2 sumail earnings before interest

Dota 2 sumail earnings before interest

Dota 2 sumail earnings before interest

Editorial: School’s out for Sumail

Disclaimer: The following article is an opinion piece. Though all of the events and details it draws upon are considered to be verified facts, this is an article which ultimately seeks to take an opinionated stance on those facts. Any of the speculations that follow stem merely from the personal opinion of the author.

‘Going pro’, as it is colloquially referred to, is and always has been a veering from the safe and padded road; a gamble of sorts. In light of this, there are certain questions that one must answer before making this kind of decision, and indeed one must think with respect to both the short and long term consequences. What are the chances of making it? Of finding immediate or sustained success and sustenance? At what cost?

The central consideration of a professional sports career is that of a backup plan. For reasons which are largely self-evident, the majority of athletes are young people, and when a young person is faced with the opportunity of becoming a pro, it is more often than not to come at the cost of their schooling – whether it be of the (effectively mandatory) secondary or of the (decidedly more optional) post-secondary variety. The matter-at-hand is then treated as if it were a merely question of value. For is the risk of leaving behind an assured life of security worth the possibility of attaining success in stardom? Well, that’s just it: it depends. It’s only worth it if you succeed and you can’t succeed unless you try; that is, unless you first run the risk of failure.

This all comes in light of the recent announcement that Evil Geniuses’ superstar midlaner, Sumail ‘Suma1L’ Hassan, has decided to drop out of high school and instead continue his professional Dota 2 career full-time, indefinitely. Following a short period of rumor and speculation (amidst the community of forums) regarding the fate of Sumail’s public education, the official news was confirmed by Evil Geniuses’ manager, Charlie Yang, via his personal ask. fm page.

Here it was established that Sumail would replace his public education with a go at the GED (General Educational Development) exams – with the help of a private tutor, of course. For those who don’t know, the GED takes shape in a series of tests held across four core academic subjects: mathematics, literacy, science, and social studies. Proving successful in each and every subject grants the participant a certificate that ensures their possession of an academic proficiency that is recognized as being on par with that of a traditional secondary school graduate.

Like almost all things Dota-related, the news was met with somewhat of a mixed response. There are those who speculate that Sumail’s decision was ill-advised, though it seems that – from a logistical standpoint – an even greater number are perfectly understanding of his situation.

What makes Sumail’s case particularly interesting – and unique altogether – is that he is making this decision whilst in possession of a lot of money. After turning pro in January of this year, he has won two of the largest tournaments in the history of eSports. EG’s victory at the Dota 2 Asia Championships (the third largest tournament in Dota history) garnered the team roughly $1,200,000. Of course, the second of these two begs very little preface: their recent first place finish at The International 5 earned them a whopping $6,600,000.

This makes Sumail the 6th richest eSports competitor in the world (not to mention the youngest to reach over a million dollars in winnings) holding a net sum of roughly $1,640,000 in earnings. While there are certainly countless players who have staved off the prospect of an academic career for the sake of their professional play – and even those who have given up their scholarly prospects entirely – these are players who did so before achieving the kind of success that sixteen year-old Sumail has managed to accumulate in just nine short months.

In his now infamous blog post, Jacky ‘EternaLEnVy’ Mao weighed the decision of going pro against finishing his nearly halfway finished engineering degree at the University of Toronto (of which I myself am a student, coincidentally). Valve’s self-made documentary, Free To Play, showed Benedict ‘hyhy’ Lim’s attempt to balance his desire to compete at the very first International with his post-secondary exam schedule (with which the tournament itself conflicted). From another standpoint, there are even those who placed the importance of schooling over that of pro play. In 2008 Joakim ‘Akke’ Akterhall decided to temporarily leave the Dota scene in order to complete his university degree and – having since returned to the scene – has managed to juggle his Dota schedule with his job as a computer programmer.

Each of these players was faced with a difficult dilemma, namely, trying to make a living at a young, impoverished, and largely misunderstood life of fierce competition, versus simply opting to take the beaten career path of school and a company job. This is a dilemma that Sumail does not have to face. For starters, there are far fewer uncertainties in a professional Dota career than there were a number of years ago. The game’s success is growing at a rate which is nearly exponential: there are more and more tournaments, teams, and players every year with the competition getting stiffer and the top tier more accessible and democratic. There is no shortage of money to be had in Dota – provided of course that one has what it takes to compete with the best. And if Sumail has demonstrated one thing in the last year, it’s that he is certainly among the best.

Sumail simply has no alternative options that are even worth the trouble of weighing. He has managed to achieve something that some of the most talented and successful athletes in ‘real’ professional sports could never hope to achieve by his age. Even if his career were to take an unexpected nosedive in the coming years – a possibility which seems wholly unlikely – he has already amassed so much in winnings that – with the right fiscal arrangements in place – he could be in a place of financial security for a long time to come. With the bulk of his capital invested properly, he wouldn’t even need to touch it on a day to day basis. He could live off the interest alone.

It is also more likely that this past year marks only the beginning for the young prodigy. With his mechanical skills at their absolute peak, playing for what seems to be on paper the strongest team in the world, it would be absurd for him to let school act as an imposition. The possibilities of his success seem virtually endless. And it is because of this that his situation is rather unique: in the course of making the decision as to whether or not he should put Dota above all, Sumail needn’t subjugate himself to the question of whether or not he has what it takes to make it. He has made it. In fact, he’d made it before the question had even seriously arisen.

Free to play, pero.

GAMERS DECIDE

SingSing has been one of the most influential players in the history of DotA2, while he might not be remembered as one of the best players in the world; he was definitely a great talent with an amazing personality who is one of the most loved players in this game

10) His real name is WehSing Yuen

Singsing back when he was in team Cloud9. He played for this team for 6 months, participating in over 10 tournaments and winning more than $500,000 dollars for the team.

SingSing’s real name is WehSing Yuen. He was born in June 19 1991 in Netherlands. His parents are from Hong Kong; however he has never lived there. He speaks Dutch, English and Chinese (although he claims that he cannot write Chinese). His parents own a Chinese restaurant in Netherlands, where he sometimes helps.

9) He is a retired professional DotA2 player

He retired as a professional DotA2 player on October 28 2016. He made this decision after his team had several bad results; the last one was not being able to qualify into the Boston Major of 2016. In an interview with Dota Blast he announced his decision to retire from professional DotA, saying he will dedicate more time to streaming and to other aspects in life.

SingSing interview: Announcing his retirement from Dota

8) He’s been a gamer most of his life

Since he was a child, Singsing has dedicated a great part of his life to videogames. He tried many different genres and liked them for their own reasons

He started playing DotA 2 when the game was still in beta, before it he played StarCraft II, Heroes of Newerth, and DotA. In these games he played under the username WehSing (his real name) until one day a friend of him called him SingSing, he liked that nickname so much that he started playing under that pseudonym.

7) He is one of the most popular e-sports players

Thanks to his eccentric personality and famous catchphrases, SingSing has become one of the most viewed eSports player of all times

This is due mainly because of his streams, he has over 50 million views with 180k subscribers on YouTube and almost 400k on twitch. Known for his eccentric personality, his trolling attitude and his ability to make everyone laugh, he has gained the attention of hundreds of thousands of viewers since he first started streaming back in 2011.

6) Since his professional debut in 2011, he has played for 10 teams

SexyBamboe, who was one of SingSing’s last teammate’s announcing with a toast the disband of Team Kaipi on October 28 2016.

His first team was Mousesport, a team where he played for almost a year. However, his most important team was Kaipi, playing for them in 2 occasions: 2013 and 2016. After he declared his retirement from professional DotA, team Kaipi decided to disband, this decision was announced by SexyBamboe, where he tweeted a picture of the 5 of them toasting followed by the message “The end of a journey”

5) With $200k in earnings, he is one of the most successful Dutch e-sport players

SingSing playing in a tournament, his determination and concentration was a key component in order for his team to win. Notice the difference compared to when he is streaming, where he is more relaxed and playful.

He is ranked as the 3rd Dutch eSports player regarding earnings, one of his former teammate SexyBamboe is also in this ranking, in the 10th position. The highest earning Dutch e-sport player as of today is Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen earning over $340 thousand dollars, however he is not related to DotA, since his earnings come from WarCraft III.

4) He is eager in learning to play the piano

His determination and hardwork has always paid off. Here we can see one of the many tournaments he played throughout his career, the Dream League tournament, where SingSing and his team Cloud9 finished in 2nd place earning $40,000.

In his retirement interview he said that he has always wanted to learn how to play the piano, something that he has been unable to do so far since he trained for around 17 hours a day. On the same interview he jokingly said “I will talk to Dendi to see if his mom can teach me” since she is a professional piano player.

3) He took part in the ALS bucket challenge

He posted the video back in August 2014; he claimed to have been challenged by Mushi and nominated Sheever and Eternal Envy to take the challenge.

ALS icewater bucket challenge

2) When he is on a break, he plays other games

SingSing streaming horror game “The Forest” on June 16 2017. He streams for many hours playing different games, commenting about them and just enjoying them.

Back when he was a professional player he stated in an interview that when he was not practicing DotA, he was playing other games. Most recently he has made several streams where you can see him playing games such as I am Alive and The Forest.

1) In an interview he revealed many fun facts about himself

In his retirement interview, he revealed that he always took a shower before any official game; loves Asian food (this is mainly due to his Asian roots and the fact that his parents own a Chinese food restaurant), hates cheese in general and considers eating good food to be a pleasure of life.
