Dota 2 batrider aghanim’s

Batrider is traditionally played as an initiator, dragging enemies back to his team with Flaming Lasso. The ability remains the number one reason he is played competitively. However, considering how strong Lasso is in the right hands, it often gets nerfed a little, and Icefrog compensates by giving Batrider more magical damage, or a bit of attributes.

You will usually want to head to the offlane. If you are not facing a mean-looking trilane, you can probably start with a point in Sticky Napalm, that will help you secure last hits, harass the enemy carry, and trade hits with his support. Not only does it increase your right-click damage and applies a small slow, it mostly drastically reduces their turn-rate. Once the support is done harassing you (perhaps a new creep wave is coming along), you can assuredly land two or three extra attacks while they ever-so-slowly turns around. Of course, you should cross that if they can dispel your Sticky Napalm ( Fortune’s End , Aphotic Shield . ). If you cannot get near enough anything to attack it, you could be better off with a starting point in Firefly as the unobstructed movement can help you run away to safety, or perhaps to hide in the trees to leech experience without getting noticed.

In your average game, the offlane should become unsafe soon enough and you’ll want to head to the jungle to catch-up on gold and experience. Batr > Blink Dagger , then gank somebody with Smoke of Deceit .

As for items, you’ll usually start off with Wind Lace that will upgrade into Tranquil Boots . Get Tango , perhaps an Iron Branch or two that you can either plant for extra regeneration from Tango, or turn into Magic Wand . Once you have farmed a Blink Dagger , your next core item is Force Staff .

From there, every other item is luxury. Get a Black King Bar to guarantee your initiation. But, maybe the enemies’ abilities go through spell immunity so a Linken’s Sphere is a better choice. Eul’s Scepter of Divinity is nice to have for the extra movement speed to drag your enemies further, as is Boots of Travel . Thanks to the unobstructed vision you get from Firefly, you’re also a great Gem of True Sight carrier. If you’re getting starved for item slots, cons > Hurricane Pike for extra attributes and lower cooldown.

Damage-oriented [ edit ]

Now that Flaming Lasso has such a bad cast range, and that Flamebreak deals so much damage combined with Napalm, we have seen pro-players skip entirely the Lasso in the early game. It is a good choice to make if you can spam the enemies with Napalm (no mobility or dispel on their s > Blink Dagger to take some points in Lasso.

The build order we give is only an example. If you’ve already read the tips we give on Napalm, you may think it is best to max it out first since it is eventually the skill that will dish out the most damage. However, in practice, it is sometimes difficult to get enough stacks of Napalm to justify leveling it over your other skills, mainly Firefly which is much more reliable and has a much larger AoE once you’ve circled around for a couple of seconds.

In an actual team fight, you’ll have to consider all the enemies instead of a single one, and you certainly won’t be able to stack Napalm on all of them. These enemies will disrupt you as you’re chasing a target covered in Napalm, and that enemy will try his hardest to stay away from your Firefly. That’s where Flamebreak comes in. If you can’t keep up with your target, Flamebreak can either bring him back in your Firefly, or the DoT can be enough to finish him off, especially if he’s covered in Napalm. If you only took a value point in Firefly since the damage scales poorly, any target that hasn’t got a stack of Napalm on him can ignore it entirely, whereas it’s at least a little significant with more points in Firefly and no stack of Napalm. Overall, you’ll have to adapt your build every game and see what’s working best for you.

For items, Tranquil Boots should still be your boots of choice, although Arcane Boots can be a good alternative. The Energy Booster it comes with can be recycled later for an Aether Lens or a Lotus Orb . You can take an Enchanted Mango or two to further boost up your regeneration and cast an extra Flamebreak when low on mana, and get an early Wind Lace as well, to increase your chasing power. This Wind Lace can be upgraded into Drum of Endurance , a great cost-effective item that suits Batr > Crown will upgrade later into a Veil of Discord that will do wonders for your damage output.

The game should eventually settle down and you should return to your tradtional initiating role and go back to your standard Blink Dagger and Force Staff .

Quick three things every LoL players should know when switching to Dota 2

Quick three things every LoL players should know when switching to Dota 2

1. Introduction
2. NUMBER ONE : Neutralizing the Toxicity
3. NUMBER TWO : “Command Delays”
4. NUMBER THREE : “Mana costs and cooldowns”

Introduction

Hello u/PassivelyMassive from Reddit! I kinda made this guide just for you when you asked how to be at least decently proficient at the game.

Alright, so you know MOBA’s and you might have definitely enjoyed League of Legends for some time and now you wanted to experience something new. Assuming that you pretty much know basically all the basics, this guide will tell you the THREE things that I believe is the most important stuffs to learn if you wanted to switch from LoL to Dota 2.

These three things seems basic. But they represent the most fundamental difference between League and Dota, and is the biggest reasons why League players are having a hard time getting accustomed to Dota 2.

Now let’s get right to the chase.

NUMBER ONE : Neutralizing the Toxicity

This chapter will be short, but will be the utmost important thing anyone starting on Dota2 needs to learn.

I said in the intro that these three things represent the most Rosenthal difference between League and Dota, right? Well, maybe this chapter is an exemption. The toxicity is no different but they’re definitely more potent.

What you need to do :

On the top left part of the screen is the scoreboard. You can mute their audio if they use a microphone, or their texts if they don’t.

NUMBER TWO : “Command Delays”

In Dota2, turning around takes time (turn rate), casting spells takes time (cast animation or cast points), and attacking takes time (attack point – League has this). This makes Dota feel really laggy for LoL players because they’re used to have their commands work immediately as soon as they click the mouse button or a pressed a keyboard. This, I believe is the top 1 reason why Dota is unwelcoming to new players. The beginning of the learning curve should start here!

So League has a balance problem regarding ranged vs melee. most of their melee champs have some sort of mobility in one form or another be it dashes, teleports, or just a basic movespeed increase just to be relevant. Dota 2 does not experience this problem thanks solely to these command delays. It makes kiting a lot more difficult and definitely added a whole new dynamics.

Cast point – Each spells have their own delay. Spells with much longer cast points are usually more powerful than spells with shorter cast points, but that makes them harder to cast. Item actives experience no cast points.

Turn rate – Each hero turns around at different speeds to each other. This article expands on the importance of turn rate to the design of the game and I suggest you read it too.

Attack point – Together with Turn rate. These mechanics are felt the most during laning phase, and especially ranged heroes. Since “kiting” will be much much less efective.

What you need to do :

Be patient with the command delays. It takes a lot of games to be fully accustomed to this mechanic and the only real thing you can do is be patient, don’t get frustrated, just feel them as they happen and you’ll understand the flow soon enough.

NUMBER THREE : “Mana costs and cooldowns”

League allows its players to cast spells every time it’s off cooldown and still has full mana. Switching from lol to dota 2 reddit In Dota 2 where spells costs half your mana pool and cooldowns takes half a minute, your enemies can punish you hard for casting your spells wrong. This is the VERY reason why Dota is unforgiving to new players. There’s very little room for error.

Magic wand – Magic Wand is an item in the game that, whenever a nearby enemy casts a spell, it earns 1 charge. Upon activating, the item heals its user for how much charges it has. This item counters spell spammers for a cheap cheap price. Not to mention that it’s also a very common item to be recommended by the default.

What you need to do :

Remain conservative, this is no longer LoL. If you just “spam” abilities because that’s what playing league has thought you, abandon that. Only very few select heroes can spam like the champs in league and even then they have to deal with an enemy Magic Wand . Every spell is a commitment! Every blow must be delivered with the intent to kill!

Tela do notebook piscando: conheça as principais causas

Mude a frequência. Dota 2 tela piscando sandia Se estiver 60 Hertz, altere para 40, e vice-versa. Dota 2 tela piscando sandia

Se o problema não solucionar, talvez a tela esteja com defeito mesmo, e seja o momento de fazer a troca. Dota 2 tela piscando sandia A loja virtual da ELG oferece opções de telas de várias marcas e modelos.

6. Friends and Foes

Why Clinkz?

Clinkz is a strong pushing and ganking hero who is prone to snowballing especially in lower-tier matches. He has one of the highest damage outputs in the game, but is fairly squishy. Success with him requires a solid knowledge of how enemies deploy invisibility detection as well as a good sense of what ganks are safe to take and which ones should be avoided. If he gets off to a bad start Clinkz doesn’t have a strong comeback mechanic and it can be difficult for him to catch back up.

While Clinkz is making an appearance in the pro-scene, for the purposes of this gu >

Laning Stage

At the beginning of the game you need to focus on last hitting so that you can build a fast Soul Ring and Power Treads , preferably before the 8 minute mark. Luckily, Clinkz is blessed with Searing Arrows which makes last hitting creeps a breeze. Since you have insane DPS in the beginning of the game, feel free to harass your enemies.

Clinkz is a great m > Searing Arrows .

Once you hit level 6 and have your Soul Ring and Power Treads you are ready to roam around the map and get kills on your own. (If you were m >

Death Pact and Soul Ring

Clinkz’s ultimate Death Pact gives healing, health and damage output based on the proportional stats of the creep that you target. It is absolutely essential to use before staging an attack. At the beginning of the game it’s an incredibly mana-intensive skill, but smart use of your Soul Ring and Power Treads can mostly offset those costs.

Here’s how you do it:

1) Locate a suitable creep, which is always largest creep available in a camp (IE, the blue Centaur, red Tomato, purple bird etc), or, if in a pinch when you are in lane eat a Seige creep.

2) Switch your Power Treads to Int, pop your Soul Ring and deploy Death Pact .

3) Finish off the creep camp with Searing Arrows (so that when you come back to it later there is another large creep to eat) and then Shadow Walk before the Soul Ring expires.

Now you’re invisible, healed up past full health, have a good mana pool, and are boosted with lots of extra damage. You have about 30 seconds to secure a kill.

Anatomy of a Gank (and why you shouldn’t get Orchid)

The best builds for Clinkz focus on his insane DPS while also managing his rather fragile mana pool. Staging a perfect gank requires good timing as well as a decent understanding of the enemy jungle. Once you’ve eaten a creep you have a short window of time to close the distance on a lone hero and light them up with your flaming arrows of death.

It’s as easy as getting close to them, popping Strafe and watching them melt. They might be able to run out of range of you if it is still early game, but if this happens, just pop [[Skeleton Walk>> again to catch up and repeat the process. If they’re caught alone very few heroes caught can survive.

If you can get Desolator before the 15 minute mark they will melt even faster and you are probably on course to win the match. (If Deso takes 25 minutes or more you will probably lose). In this patch Desolator is incredibly cheap, adds a bunch of damage and will let you push and take down towers with ease.

Most gu > Scythe of Vyse . The so-called “Sheep Stick” has a more powerful disable and provides more mana regen. Just like the Orchid, you can buy the Sheep in stages, helping your mana trouble along the way while you save up for it.

The main reason that Sheep is better than Orch > Blade Mail or Shadow Blade and can use it to escape your well-crafted attack. You do so much DPS that most enemies will be pretty close to dead by the time the 3.5 second disable expires.

When I have sheep stick in my inventory, I start a gank usually with a single auto attack, then sheep the enemy, and then finish off bursting them down.

The Enemy Has Detection. Should I Just Rage Quit?

There comes a time in every invisibility-dependent hero’s career when the enemy team realizes that they need to start carrying Dust of Appearance , buying sentry wards and possibly even carrying a Gem of True Sight . This can cause some habitual invisible players to curse the day they were born and sit in fountain sucking their thumbs. But don’t despair, all is not lost.

The trick to dealing with detection is as easy as understanding their strategy. Every type of detection has a weakness. If they’re dropping sentries, you could try to de-ward, but in most cases it is just easier to look for a kill in another part of the map. If they use dust, Shadow Walk has the added advantage of also providing a speed boost. You can usually just run away. Finally, if they get a gem, the best strategy is to simply kill their gem-carrier and go back to murdering them.

Unlike Riki , Clinks is a ranged DPS hero, which means even if they can see you, you can still kill them from a distance. If the enemy team is doing an excellent job finding you, simply stand behind your tankier teammates and pretend you are Drow Ranger or Sniper . As just another glass cannon, you still do more damage than either of them.

Friends and Foes

Crystal Maiden : Her mana aura solves your mana issues and her frostbite can give you early kills.

Lion : He stuns, you burst down the target. It’s a match made in heaven.

Spirit Breaker : Plan your ganks together for twice the success rate.

Life Stealer: He can hop a ride inside of you while you’re invisible and help you burst them down.

Zeus : His lightening always seems to find you.

Slardar and Bounty Hunter : their detection abilities are annoying.

Legion Commander : her disable can really screw you, especially if she uses the blade mail combo.

Your least favorite item that most enemy teams build:

Anyone who uses Blade Mail : seriously, if there is one item that counter’s clinkz it’s this one. In a typical gank you can have two or three arrows in the air before they hit your target. If they pop Blade Mail it is game over. This is why you need Sheep stick.

Comments Appreciated

This is a very quick gu > Clinkz and I hope that it gives you a few basics to try the hero out. I’d love to include your comments into a more fully fleshed out guide. So please tell my what I’m missing below.

Dota 2 Top 5 Pudge Players of all time

After recently covering too many professional Top ‘this’ and Top ‘that’ in Dota 2, we thought about writing for the most beloved hero of all. Dota 2 players around the world, even though the best or the worst have at least tried a hook or two with the butcher. Yes, Pudge is the most played hero in Dota 2 and we are here to tell you the top 5 Pudge players you should watch next time you want to learn how to play Pudge.

Black^
First stop is Black^. Currently playing for mousesports, Black^ is a guy that can play with almost any hero. And that is why Pudge is no stranger to him as well. No matter how important the match, if the team wants a roaming nuke then Pudge is nothing but heaven for Black. Being able to dominate early game, Black’s Pudge allows his team to just snowball like crazy. His Hook percentage is pretty insane as well allowing him to position himself for the best possible outcome. Black has an astonishing 62% winrate with Pudge. Even though we don’t see Pudge very often but this is a pocket strat that can be of use anytime. Here’s just a glimpse of what devastation Black^ can bring with his Pudge.

FoREv
Players don’t know much about FoRev but he definitely is one of the best Pudge players out there. With amazing skills and predictions, FoRev is just a nightmare when it comes to his Pudge. FoRev is a key player in Team MVP and we want him to stay that way, so that he can own. FoReV sits with the highest win rate for Pudge at an astounding 75%. We probably won’t see much of his Pudge in competitive games, but who cares? As long as we see Pudge owning the crap out of the enemy team we are happy with it. FoRev does absolutely what we want, ANNIHILATION.

w33haa
You guys mostly know him for his insane Meepo, but trust me; w33haa is absolutely not limited to that uglier version of Tyrion Lannister. The Europe’s best Dota 2 player, well in terms of leader boards is amazing when it comes to hooking enemies from where they didn’t even know. It’s been quite some time w33haa has played Pudge but, whenever he does there is nothing more fun to watch. w33haa has a 60% win rate with the old man and his Pudge is as scary as his Meepo. Here’s a look;

The Magical hexOr
Back in the days of DotA, this guy was probably the best Pudge player, showing off his skills with the name of hOlyhexOr. There is almost no one who has ever dreamt of playing a good Pudge and hasn’t watched hexOr’s insane plays with Pudge. Even though there are tons of wannabe Pudge players out there, no one is even close to the skills that hexOr has with this hero.

Dendi
Well, who doesn’t know Dendimon for his Pudge skills? Dendi was the reason people actually thought of picking Pudge in professional matches. Being able to create strategies around the hero, Dendi is the most fearsome Pudge player out there. The historical Pudge and Chen combo that was introduced for the first time in Dota 2 history created a mark of what wonders Dendi can make with the hero. Dendi currently has a 62% winrate with the hero, but who cares for numbers when it’s Dendi’s Pudge.

Can’t Hook cause you are lagging? Try Kill Ping and you won’t miss your hooks. EVER!

Biography [ edit ]

Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Dendi got an early start with competitive gaming in net cafes when his elder brother married, moved out and took the family’s PC with him. Dabbling with Counter-Strike first, he soon found Warcraft 3 where he played in local tournaments and built a love for the competition and a thirst to be the best. Though he was quite successful in Warcraft 3 and even won a few local championships in Lviv, he knew he had found his calling when he stumbled upon DotA. He picked up the game quickly and played it almost exclusively over the next few months.

Beginning with learning only supports, he practiced heavily and was quickly vouched to the IHCS1 league and soon created his own team for tournaments in Lviv. After he led his team to a championship in Kiev, he was drafted by a team called “Wolker. Gaming” and began his professional career at 17.

DotA [ edit ]

Dendi started playing professionally with WG in 2006. [1] He was a part of the Ukrainian squad that finished third in MYM Prime Nations the same year. Only a few months later WG made it to the grand final of one of the most prestigious tournaments at the time; MYM Prime Defending. [2] When Kingsurf. international merged with WG the next year he became a full-time member of Ks. int. [1] In late 2008 he joined DTS, only to return to Ks. int in March 2009. [3] Three months later though, Dendi returned to DTS. [4] The team would end up finishing 2nd at ESWC 2010. At the end of 2010, Dendi and DTS finished 3rd at the prestigious WDC 2010. [5] Dendi joined Natus Vincere at the end of 2010. [6]

Dota 2 [ edit ]

Dendi started his Dota 2 career with Na’Vi, who quickly established themselves as one of the best teams in the world by winning The International 2011. Na’Vi continued to dominate and won many tournaments in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. Dendi was the center of Na’Vi’s consistent stable and skilled rosters, with his performance greatly contributing to their success.

The Natus Vincere Dota 2 team achieved significant success with Dendi as their midlaner during the first few years of the game; they finished as the runners-up for both The International 2012 and The International 2013, losing out to Invictus Gaming and Alliance, respectively. 2013 would mark the last year of Na’Vi and Dendi’s dominance in the Dota 2 scene, as they only recorded two LAN victories since January 2014. The International 2014 saw Na’Vi and Dendi finishing the tournament outside of the top 2 for the first time and the following two Internationals, TI 5 and TI 6, they would finish in last place. The results would deteriorate further, as they would fail to even qualify for The International 2017, they failed to advance out of the group stage of the regional qualifiers. This marked the first year of The International tournaments without Dendi attending as a player. The 2017/18 season started of promising for Dendi and Na’Vi, who dominated the CIS scene in the early months, crowning their improving results with their second LAN victory since 2014. However, the second half of the season saw the roster break apart and finally the team would fail to even reach the regional qualifiers for The International 2018, after losing in the open qualifier.

Four years of roster instability and poor results finally took their toll on the reputation of the Na’Vi organization and on Dendi’s status as a legendary player and a top tier midlaner. After 8 years playing mid on Na’Vi, Dendi was finally removed from the active roster in September 2018. However, Dendi vowed to continue playing professionally. After a brief stint on Tigers, Dendi joined The Pango.

Death Prophet

Krobelus was a Death Prophet-she told destinies for the wealthiest of those who desired to look beyond the veil. However, after years of probing on behalf of others, she began to seek signs on her own fate. When death repudiated to yield its secrets, she tried to buy them with her life. Nevertheless, the ultimate price proved inadequate. Death disgorged her repeatedly, always holding back its genuine mysteries. Her suspicion grew. Others could die for eternity–why not she? Why must she alone be cast back on the shores of life with such tedious regularity? Why she was not creditable of the one thing all other living creatures took for granted? Still, she would not be disheartened. Each time she returned from the grave, she brought a bit of death back with her. Apparitions followed her like portions of her shattered soul; her blood grew thin and ectoblastic the gorging creatures of twilight took her for their kin… She gave a little of her life with every end, and it began to seem as if her end was in sight. With her commitment to death redoubled, and no client other than herself, Krobelus threw herself ever more avidly into death’s abyss, intent on fulfilling the one divination that eluded her: That one day the Death Prophet would return from death no more.

LoL is the better spectator sport. When it comes to actual sports gaming, a fun game thats **** to watch doesnt hold up so well. Its the main reason golf gets laughed at whenever it tries to call itself a sport.

LoL kills DotA in the same way. DotA just isnt visually as appealing to most people, and just isnt fun to watch.

In the end LoL could still have the most viewers. it’s a casual game with an artificially floated competitive scene where Riot pretty much controls it whereas Dota has developed its scene right from the ground up since 2005 with a ton of sponsors and organised tournaments. LoL is just not as good of a spectator e-Sport IMO because it lacks many e-Sports features and the game itself was originally designed to cater to casuals.

A better e-Sports =/= the one with more viewers. LoL is basically a casual game that can be played with a competitive mindset that’s popular. There we go. I said it. It was never designed to be a competitive title. Look at the features it’s missing. It took 2 1/2 years to implement a fully functional spectator mode and even now you still can’t view tournaments from within the game.

Burden of knowledge and Anti-fun philosophies are shaping LoL. Look at the production quality (or lack thereof). Its client is pretty mediocre and buggy, the champion pool is infested with generic abilities, the items are all but stat boosters, the mechanics are quite broken down. There are a lot of game-affecting gimmicks like Runes & Masteries in addition to you having to grind to unlock the champions. These things were more to try to hook people in than anything else. It was designed to draw in as many casual players as possible. How could you even begin to call it a competitive e-Sport?

LoL has had a 3 + year head start on Dota 2 with regards to everything from player-base to game production. and yet I take a look at Dota 2.

Dota 2 has/is:

  • a more competitive game with more depth.
  • has more diversity in hero designs (this is an under-statement)
  • has more diversity in abilities (a much much larger array)
  • has more game-breaking abilities (that actually mean something and are genuinely powerful in both functionality and feel)
  • has more variety in item designs (they aren’t all just stat boosters and many actually have active ability components)
  • has more diversity in effective item builds (even among the same roles you’re not going to always build and share the same few core items)
  • has more room for counter-play.
  • has more depth in its mechanics (brush vs trees is the simplest comparison, then there’s creep blocking/pulling/stacking, fog of war is more dynamic and there’s a lot more interaction with the terrain and abilities/items.)
  • has more laning diversity (laning is a lot less strict and more unpredictable)
  • has more unpredictability in general (more RNG, more variability etc.)
  • has a much much much higher production quality (highly stressing this point)
  • has a lot more settings options (audio/video/game/interface)
  • has more attention to detail (injured animations? hasted running animations? interactive voice lines? team decals and banners? the announcer will say “CLG’s turn to pick” when the team CLG is picking)

What this most often means is that competitive League of Legends matches tend to be a lot more. or at least. less action packed than Dota matches simply due to how the game is designed. The most recent tournaments for both games shows it. As much as you may prefer LoL how could you even begin to say it’s a better e-Sport that’s more fun to watch? Is watching two teams farm for the first 10-15 minutes fun? Is watching players picking the same champs, heading out into the same lanes and building the same items over and over fun?

There’s simply more diversity and unpredictability in Dota than in LoL which is a huge part of why I find Dota matches more interesting and enjoyable to spectate. Having better graphics, better spell effects and a heap more voice interactions and animations really adds to the immersion.

As for the competitive features/features that help the e-Sports scene?

  • has a more professionally made client.
  • has more diversity in the spell effects. Given how the lighting and shading works it’s much easier to distinguish between spells than in LoL IMO.
  • has a much more well-made spectator mode with a lot more statistics graphs and charts. The spectator mode also allows for and records broadcaster audio in-game and there is a viewing mode that allows you to see every click and action of a player in the match.
  • has an entire database of replays available to download and watch from within the client.
  • has an in-game tournament spectating mode that requires tickets to watch (part of the proceeds goes towards the organisers) except for Valve tournaments which thus far is limited to the International which just started yesterday.
  • has a functioning pause game feature
  • has pennants which are purchasable fan items ($0.99) that contribute funds towards your preferred team as well as gives you as a spectator a chance to loot cosmetic items when your team does something cool (eg. a first blood, multi-kills, stealing Roshan’s aegis (Baron-equivalent).
  • has team decals and banners that appear in-game that show the team’s logo and sponsors.

I play LoL with friends when I want to sit back and derp around to have fun. It still requires effort but it’s not as. how shall I say this without offending anyone. it’s not as demanding as Dota I guess? Now I’m not saying Dota 2 is super hard to pick up and play because it’s not that hard to play but it definitely requires more prior knowledge and attention to details within the game to do well. It’s also a tad more frustrating when you’re doing poorly but when you’re doing great. it feels absolutely terrific!

Understand this – people will always be more inclined to watch the game that they enjoy playing more than any other. Why? Perhaps it just feels like a part of them. Perhaps they want to see their favourite teams in action? Perhaps they’re looking forward to seeing their favourite characters being played? It’s a combination of a lot of things but having more viewers does not immediately translate into being better.

If I may I would like to use the overly used example of Justin Bieber. He currently has over 2.8 billion views on his YouTube videos. Is he the best singer with the deepest and and most meaningful lyrics to his songs? I’ll leave it at that. Simply put: Is LoL fun to play? Sure. Is it fun to watch? Hell no.

Dota 2 do tangos stacked

Creep Stacking

is the process of drawing neutral creeps away from their camps in order to increase the number of units in an area. Dota 2 do tangos stacked Generally, neutral creeps will spawn in the first minute of the game and at every minute thereafter. So 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 etc. However, new creeps cannot spawn if a unit such as a player or a ward is present within the camp’s boundry. By pulling neutral creeps beyond their camp boundaries, the game will generate a new set of creeps for the player to interact with in addition to any remaining creeps. This is incredibly time efficient, since it effectively increases the amount of gold available for a team. In many cases, a support who has stacked a substantial amount of creeps can build a sizable chunk of gold for not only his fellow teammates but also himself for getting stacking bonus of 35% of the bounty. However, this can work against you if the enemy team reaches your camps first and neither will the stacker get the bonus bounty.

Basics [ edit ]

To stack a camp, you can either attack a unit in the camp or simply walk close to it. The neutral creeps will then attempt to chase you for a few seconds before returning to their initial position. Most camps can be stacked at around the 53-54 second mark. However, this timing varies depending on the spawn box size and the type of units involved. If done correctly, a new set of creeps will spawn at the minute mark.

The above method can be done multiple times, but the timing might start to differ. This is because some creeps have auras which affect movement speed, and they can get in each other’s way. Furthermore, all neutral camps can be stacked indefinitely; as long as all the creeps have escaped the camp boundaries.

Camp Boundary Boxes [ edit ]

These images show the boundary boxes that the creeps cannot be in for a stack to occur. Click them for a larger size.

It’s always best to practice stacking as the hero you want to play before joining an actual match. The time at which you need to stack the camp will vary because of which camp type it is (different camps have differing lengths that the creeps will chase you), what neutrals are currently in the camp (some move faster than others, and some won’t leave until your hero gets out of their attack range), the attributes of your hero including their attack range if you’re attacking to get the creeps attention.

Each camp has a “Base Stack Time”. You will need to modify this based on your situation in the following ways:

  • subtract ≈:01 if you’re a melee hero & there’s a long-ranged neutral creep currently in the camp such as Vhoul Assassin Camp or Troll Camp
  • subtract ≈:00.25 If your ranged hero has a short range (such as Luna or Huskar) and there’s a long ranged creep currently in the camp.

Advanced Techniques [ edit ]

Certain heroes can stack creeps very quickly, such as Tinker and Clockwerk. With careful positioning and timing, Tinker can stack multiple camps at once using March of the Machines . Rocket Flare can block a camp or stack it from anywhere if Clockwerk damages the creeps.

Safespotting [ edit ]

By using ranged abilities, some heroes can attack and stack creeps at little to no risk. For example, Alchemist, Medusa, Bristleback, and Beastmaster can attack ancient camps at a distance using Acid Spray , Split Shot , Quill Spray or Wild Axes . With some trees cleared, the Radiant ancient camp can be attacked from the ridge near the secret shop. The Dire side is even easier due to high ground and the creeps can be reached quite easily from the upper ridge.

Creep Pulling [ edit ]

Although quite difficult to pull off, lane creeps can be used to absorb most of the damage dealt by a neutral camp. To do this, pull a neutral camp toward incoming lane creeps such that the incoming wave gets drawn toward the jungle. With careful timing, the camp will stack and the lane creeps can even be pulled toward harder camps which normally wouldn’t interact with the incoming wave. If done incorrectly, any remaining creeps will venture back into the lane and eventually push out the creep equilibrium.

DotA 2: How to stack the Radiant’s neutral creep camps

The update 6.86 for DotA 2 (The Balance of Power) is finally here with ton of changes in the map as well as the heroes and items. Most of the players in DotA 2 can’t really get an idea of how to pull or stack the creep camps on the Radiant side. Basically each camp has its own time of pulling and stacking. If you just know how to stack a creep camp, then pulling a camp is also not a big deal.

Let’s start off with the first creep camp in the Radiant jungle. The creeps spawned in this camp are still the same but due to a slightly varying path, players might want to lookout for enemy that can steal the stacks easily. But don’t worry, an Observer Ward will sort out this problem for normal situations.

First of all, if you want to stack any camp, make sure that your timings are really good. Even a fraction of a second will make all of your stacking efforts useless. Grab a quelling blade or some tangos if you’re just going to stack for the first couple of minutes for your carry or mid. Cut the two green highlighted trees with the help of your quelling blade or tangos as shown in the picture below.

Half of your job is already accomplished by doing this small thing. Next all you’ve to do is to attack the neutral creeps at an exact time. When the clock will hit XX:55 mark (XX are the number of minutes that we’re not concerned with. We’re just concerned with the number of seconds in the game), just attack the creeps in the camp and move your hero towards the path that you made earlier by cutting down those two trees.

If you do this on timing then you’ll surely get your camp stacked. You can repeat this step again and again to stack more for your team.

Note that time of stacking neutral creeps on each camp may vary. Some of the neutral creeps can also be stacked at XX:53 mark.

Now just move your hero towards the second creep camp. When you go towards the second camp, you really don’t need to cut any tree. You can just stack this camp easily by going on 3 alternative directions. The time for stacking this camp is also the same. You just need to pull it at exactly XX:55 mark.

As mentioned before, if you do this thing on exactly the same mark, then your neutral creep camp should be stacked.

Although the procedure for stacking neutral creeps on the third camp is almost the same but the time for stacking is a little bit earlier than first/second camp. First of all you should cut the green highlighted tree as mentioned below in the picture. This will assure that the creeps in this camp will be stacked if you do everything with perfect timing.

Once you cut the tree, just attack the creep on this camp by XX:53 mark and move your hero in the direction in which you cut that tree. By doing so, this camp will be stacked but make sure to put up an Observer Ward on the top of cliff to protect the stacked camp from your enemies.

The fourth camp can easily be stacked just like the second Radiant neutral camp. The only difference is that the time for stacking this camp is XX:53 rather than XX:55. You can move your hero in two alternative directions after attacking the creep in order to stack the camp. Like the same old story, if you do this perfectly, then the creeps in this camp will be stacked.

The last camp in the Radiant jungle is a new camp location introduced in the update 6.86. This camp involves big neutral creeps so it is always a good idea to stack this camp particularly for your carry at the bottom lane. To stack the camp, take down the green highlighted tree to make sure that the camp would be stacked.

After you cut down the tree, just attack any creep in the camp at XX:55 mark. At that moment, just move your hero towards the bottom lane to make sure that the creeps will be stacked at the time. And here it is your Radiant jungle completely stacked.

The last non-Ancient neutral creep camp of Radiant is an additional camp introduced in the patch The Balance of Power. It is located near the Ancient camp of Radiant s >This will allow you to stack this camp easily. When the clock hits at XX:55 mark, just attack the creep in that camp and move your hero in the direction mentioned below.

Just make sure that you do this on a perfect timing to stack the creeps on this camp.

Hope you’ve found this guide useful in DotA 2. Have you got any new stacking procedure in the game? Let us know in the comments below.
