Nothing big has changed with Bristleback in the recent patches, but rather a series of incremental buffs has now put him back in a territory of irritating heroes to deal with. In pubs, his win rate has increased by 3 points from patch 7.03 to 7.06, and in competitive play, Evil Geniuses sealed their victory against Newbee with Arteezy playing a position 1 Bristleback, dealing more damage than SuMa1L’s Ember Spirit.

The last time Bristleback got a considerable direct nerf was back in patch 6.84c, over two years ago, and it was “Increased Base Attack Time from 1.7 to 1.8.” He has been buffed ever since. Over a series of patches since then, the net results of his buffs have caused Quill Spray’s damage cap from 400 to 550, Quill Spray’s radius from 625 to 700—greater than Lina’s auto attack range—and the release threshold of his passive Quill Spray from 250 to 210 (that’s a good thing). Then there have been numerous buffs towards the strength attribute, with a higher regeneration or HP gained per strength. Even though in today’s game there’s a surfeit of counters for Bristleback, it’s not always as easy as it seems.

Outside of farming Aghanim’s Scepter, Ethereal Blade, Veil, Aether Lens, and Refresher on a support Shadow Demon, players can just cast any other spell as normal. Soul Catcher can offset the damage reduction from Bristleback’s passive, Disruption offers a brief respite to deal with Bristleback’s teammates, and Demonic Purge can effectively shutter him out of the fight. One reminder is that the Aghanim’s version of Demonic Purge applies Break, which disables Bristleback’s damage reduction passive. There’s no way to counter it. Shadow Demon is a solid counter for Bristleback from the support position. Only if he were effective in nearly every other situation.

KOTL holds a 4.3% win rate edge against Bristleback, and all of it can be attributed to Mana Leak. He doesn’t need to cast any other spells to neutralize Bristleback, who depends on movement and mana. Whereas one method is to reduce Bristleback’s potency and deal with his teammates first, a team with Legion Commander can pickoff Bristleback early in the fight. Duel forces Bristleback to face his opponents, as opposed to showing his back to them. The better use case for LC is to gank Bristleback and pressure him in the early and mid game, when he depends on his passive more than tanky items to survive.

Phoenix is one of the better hero choices because its a hero thats relevant in the meta. Bristleback dota 2 jungler It’s less situational than KOTL, giving its team more options if picked in an earlier phase. Phoenix benefits from Sun Ray dealing damage as a percentage of max health, while Fire Spirits limits Bristleback’s underrated auto attack damage output.

OD is a common counter pick to Bristleback and was picked a few times during the Manila Masters, with little success. But in pubs, OD has a 2% win rate advantage against Bristleback. Arcane Orb ignores armor and magic resistance (but not Bristleback’s passive) and Sanity’s Eclipse has a tendency to just detonate Strength heroes. Astral Imprisonment works similar to Shadow Demon’s disruptions as it buys time to kite Bristleback around or deal with his teammates first.

The One Item That’s Not As Great As It Seems

은빛 칼날 should be the bane of Bristleback. The debuff Breaks Bristleback’s passive, and it’s undispellable. But in the same period of time that Bristleback has been buffed, Silver Edge has been nerfed. From 6.87c to 7.06 its build cost has increased from 4800 to 5550, and its Shadow Walk damage reduced from 225 to 175. Meanwhile, most heroes who can build Silver Edge as a situational item are no longer at the top of the meta. Bristleback dota 2 jungler Troll Warlord would have been a decent pick, if he wasn’t just nerfed in both 7.06b and c.

The debuff doesn’t last forever, and it doesn’t disable the evasion from Solar Crest and Halberd. By the time your team has a Silver Edge, Bristleback will have tanky items that make him difficult to kill even without the benefit of his passive. Silver Edge can still help, but it’s just one of the puzzle pieces to solve the Bristleback problem. Other pieces include typical support items, that help put some distance between supports and Bristleback.

Pretty good guide. I would make two changes. My skill build order for levels 1-4 would be:
1. Holy Persuasion
2. Test of Faith
3. Test of Faith
4. Holy Persuasion
and the rest are how you list them. The reason I would do this is because the extra damage from the Test of faith at level 3 can often mean the difference between a successful and unsuccessful gank whereas the difference in your creep’s hp makes almost no difference.

The other change I would make is during team fights, Mekansm should be used before Hand of God. The reason for this is because Mekansm has a shorter cooldown and it is more efficient in terms of amount healed div >

it seems like carry being carrying is back a bit too instead of the of The solo mid carrying everything.

Still its a bit of patches to go to get back to the good old days where you could play varius diffrent styles and still have a 50/50 shot at winning instead of The play carrying solo mid with husk or wr (metashit) or only 5% change to win.

Dead game would be game that has no player base and no tournaments whatsoever, there is no acctual dead. Dota 2 is not even close to dead and new players are always emerging, maybe young players are not used to dead games so they think game is dead even it is not. Getting online, having 100 active friends in all mmr ranges is kinda alive. Maybe problem is on higher levels, or on pro level, but it is understandable, since not many players can achieve that level and join that club, so it seems dead specially when some of them stop playing or leave for other game.

Personally I think it has already reached its peak at TI5 and now slowly declining

If decline is case, we would see dota 3 coming out, not new patches. It might be normal that there is loss in interest between two TI’s. Let’s wait and see what happens when hype kicks in. Game slike Dota 2 that are so much releveant in e-sports and have such huge amount of money involved do not just ‘die’.

Rank system has it flaws for sure, game meta changes, some heros from top tier picks go back to mid or low, it is how it is. You can always say good bye to dota and come back whenever you like, start from 0 and find way to enjoy it, but I doubt it will die so easily.

Meta sapm has been present since forever. Nightmares of 6.57 DP and Necro still haunt me. Morph in 6.64. Zombie post rework. etc.

Game was actually dying during reborn beta, and post reborn release due to people being unfamiliar with the main menu, hipsters complaining that the old one was better (when it’s NOT, the old one was super basic, good, but too basic)(arcade mode is amazing) and all the bugs and glitches that came with reborn dropped the population, now numbers are high again.

I don’t get how people can say TI 2 and 3 had more players, uh, it didn’t, I didn’t play back then, but the statistics are there, game has grown ALOT. Prize money for tournaments is higher, MOBAS are STILL ON THE RISE (hence why tons of moba clones are coming out like crazy) PC gaming is on the rise (Dota or counter strike usually being the first games people hear of on Steam) Also, when the International 2011 was happening, Twitch was barely being born, and the game didn’t get nearly as much coverage back then as it does now. (seeing as Twitch is now main stream, and everyone has a Twitch account these days)

Many many casuals play games for the first time cause they thought it looked interesting when watching it on Twitch, Twitch has done ALOT more for gaming than people think.

Looks 2 me like the game is just growing! Sure some people have given up on the game, but they should be ignored. There’ll always be players passionate about dota, just as there’ll be people who are shall we say less keen on the game. I normally play by myself now, as my friends have started playing less or moved away, but I still have a gr8 time every game! There are some complete dickheads but a lot of gr8 people & there always will be.

– Set up combat tốt với Snowball

– Vai trò đa dạng (vừa có thể làm support, carry hoặc semi tank nếu thích)

Nhược điểm

– Nếu set up combat không chuẩn bạn có thể đẩy cả team vào nguy khốn ( Snowball gom cả team lại 1 chỗ rất nguy hiểm khi đối đầu với những Magnus , Enigma , Sven )

– Damage tay phụ thuộc nhiều vào Walrus Punch (đấm xong đi về)

– Đấm chết được 1 thằng xong rồi 4 thằng còn lại thì làm sao nữa?

Dồn điểm cho Snowball và Ice Shards để tối đa hoá sát thương, Frozen Sigil lên sớm cũng chẳng có tác dụng gì nhiều trong kiểu build carry, late game mới hiệu quả. Ultimate lên đúng level

– Level 10 ta lấy +40% EXP giúp tăng level nhanh chóng trong các đợt đi gank (nhằm rush level 25 nhanh nhất có thể) nhưng 90 gold mỗi phút cũng đáng để chọn trong trường hợp bạn bị thọt.

– Level 15 lấy +150 damage Snowball , giúp bạn có thêm burst damage ăn mạng địch, sure vcl, tuy nhiên 350 máu cũng không phải lựa chọn tồi nếu bạn cần phải tăng cường khả năng sống sót trước dàn nắc cơ cực mạnh của đối thủy

– Level 20: 100% Walrus Punch sẽ giúp bạn trở thành cơn ác mộng với khả năng gây sát thương cực khủng.

– Level 25: Đích đến của bạn là gì? Carry ? Hãy lấy 12% cơ hội sử dụng Walrus Punch . Ganker đơn thuần vì team quên mình -6s CD Ice Shards sẽ giúp bạn khóa chân mọi mục tiêu để dọn cỗ cho đồng đội.

Giai đoạn đầu game

Ngoài ra bạn cũng phải căn dùng skill này khá chuẩn, tính toán hướng di chuyển, tốc độ di chuyển của cả địch lẫn cục Ice Shards để đảm bảo nó block ngay trước mũi kẻ địch (chứ không phải là chặn luôn giữa bạn và nó), yên tâm chơi nhiều sẽ quen tất. Giai đoạn giữa game

Bạn nên bắt đầu đi gank khi có Walrus Punch , và đi săn lẻ khi có trong tay Shadow Blade hoặc Desolator , hai món này sẽ boost sát thương cho Walrus Punch lên ghê gớm giúp bạn đấm 1 phát hỏng gần nửa cây máu Support (nếu có 2 món đồ cùng lúc thì làm Phồng tôm cũng không quá khó). Tạo ra một vùng aura slow rất mạnh làm cản trở các hero phụ thuộc nhiều vào các đòn đánh tay, Tusk có thể tự tay điều khiển cục băng hoặc để nó bám theo Tusk ngay từ đầu để gây ảnh hưởng lên những hero chủ chốt. Đừng để nó rơi vào tay địch vì cục băng này cho một lượng tiền không nhỏ.

In December of 2013, Valve gave the following MMR distribution for solo unranked matchmaking across the entire player base. [1] It is unknown how much these figures have changed since 2013.

Percentile indicates the percentage of players who are lower than the corresponding MMR. For example, a player with 3200 MMR would be more skilled than 90% of the total population.

OpenDota

Subsequent analysis of public player profiles collected by OpenDota shows a higher average MMR of approximately 3100. Uncertainty

Uncertainty is the standard deviation of a player’s MMR.

Teď byla daleko od domova, napůl šílená z hladu a měsíců putování. Její armáda byla mrtvá, nebo přeměněná na něco horšího. Jak stála na kraji starého lesa, pozoroval ji z větve pár svítících očí. Něco krásného a zároveň smrtícího si při soumraku hledalo potravu. Bez vydání zvuku se to otočilo a odešlo. Popadl ji vztek. Pevně sevřela svou rezavou dýku a zaútočila po šelmě. Byla odhodlaná získat zpět alespoň špetku své bývalé slávy, nicméně svůj cíl nechytla. Szukam klanu dota 2 Třikrát zahnala šelmu mezi kameny a stromy a třikrát byla svědkem toho, jak se tvor mění v blednoucí stín utíkající hlouběji do lesa. Vyvolá temnotu, která následuje Lunu a zasahuje jednotky schopností Lucent Beam (dle její aktuální úrovně). Každý cíl může být zasažen maximálním počtem zásahů. Dále Eclipse na 10 sekund přemění den v noc. Lze vylepšit pomocí Aghanim’s Scepteru.

– Výstřely se zastaví jakmile Luna zemře.
– Nevyvolává mini-stun.
