Warning: Do not use uppercase. Give it a try to see what happens. -givebots -givebots item_blink dota_bot_give_item Give all bots the specified item.

This command can be used in a non-cheat game, too. -spawnrune -spawnrune dota_spawn_rune Spawns an intermediate rune.

Defining MOBAs:

Let us first get to know what MOBA is. Traditionally, they will involve two teams of 5 players. Each player gets to control a hero with unique abilities. These heroes battle on a map that includes three lanes, a jungle between the lanes, A. I. minions that march across those lanes, and turrets and other defenses which each team must destroy. This genre actually began as a series of mods for Blizzard real-time strategy games Starcraft and Warcraft III. Defense Of The Ancients became the most popular in the genre at one time. Now let’s take a look at each of these games:

League Of Legends:

League Of Legends is one of the first standalone MOBAs. It has been able to transform the spirit of original mods into a free-to-play money-maker. It has faced sturdy competition over the years but, still can claim the No.1 spot.

League Of Legends took out some of the complexities of Defense Of The Ancients. The most notable of them being the capability of players to deny the other team experience and gold through killing their own minions. It kept on the tradition of adding new heroes and right now has a big roster of 126 heroes. It has added different maps and modes. This goes along with the traditional three-laned MOBA standard.

Dota 2:

While LOL may have made some changes from the Defense Of The Ancients, Dota 2 is the most faithful update of the original mod. It features the same mechanics and also most of the same heroes. It is the most technical compared to the other three. So, it may not be the best game to start playing MOBAs if you don’t have prior experience playing MOBAs.

Dota 2 is all about playing on the same field of 3 lanes between the two bases. But, develop Valve did recently allow the modding community to create custom games that use Dota 2’s assets.

Smite:

The biggest difference for Smite lies in the perspective. While most MOBAs have an isometric, top-down view, Smite is a third-person game. What does it do? Well, it allows for most abilities to require aiming. This ultimately makes the experience feel more frenzied and it will depend on the player’s skill. There’s another factor, while most MOBAs have a fantasy setting, Smite bases the playable characters after the gods from different mythologies.

Heroes of the Storm:

This is the newest kid on the block. Heroes of the Storm is the most casual of the MOBAs. Unlike the other three mentioned above, it doesn’t contain an in-game shop to buy items from. It also contains teams leveling up together. This helps the lesser experienced players from being quickly outclassed in a match.

One map has you collecting gold coins to turn into a ghost pirate, who then shoots cannons at the other team’s buildings once you meet its price. This only makes things interesting and different compared to other MOBAs.

In 2006, Akke along with highschool friend Loda became a part of Team_Team. The team signed up for an ESL qualifier, and shortly upon winning, Loda was approached by Maelk to form a new team; Jukes on You, which Akke was invited to.

JoY had their first professional win at the MYM Prime Defending #3, which in turn secured them sponsorship under the MYM Organization.

Meet Your Makers [ edit ]

Under sponsorship (and name) of MYM, Akke along with fellow teammates managed to win Dreamhack Winter 2006. Following the win, the team had many fluctuations in the roster, resulting in Akke and Loda’s departure from the team.

Return to Team_Team [ edit ]

After their departure, Akke and Loda reformed Team_Team. In early 2007, Akke and team managed a win at MYM Prime Defending #5, bringing along with them a new meta game in the form of a global strategy. In mid 2007 Team_Team secured a runner-up position, second to former team MYM at Dreamhack Summer 2007.

SK Gaming [ edit ]

On the 30th June 2007, less than a month after their placement at Dreamhack Summer 2007, SK Gaming picked up Team_Team. In late 2007, SK Gaming came second place at Dreamhack Winter 2007, only to be beaten by MYM. In 2008 SK Gaming had their first win, followed by many more and quick rise to fame. At the top of their game, the team managed to win ESL Major Playoffs, and MYM Prime Defending #9 and #10. The team reached their peak at the ESWC in Paris, then Dreamhack Summer 2008.

After attempting to combine professional gaming and university study, Akke realised he could not find the time to practice enough, and as such left SK and professional gaming.

eXperience Gaming [ edit ]

After returning to gaming, Akke started playing Heroes of Newearth with lifelong friend Loda, until leaving in late 2011 and going to new game, Dota 2, were he formed team eXperience Gaming with Loda. The team entered the tournament as one of the European favorites, only to be eliminated due to Orange after making 5th place in their group. After a period of inactivity, Akke left CLG to join Loda in No Tidehunter.

No Tidehunter [ edit ]

They then went on to win many more tournaments including three EMS One Spring Cups and the StarLadder Star Series Season 5. Alliance was created in 2013 and consisted of players from No Tidehunter. The team went on to win many tournaments, and in the process brought themselves to fame. The most notable win of Alliance was at The International 2013, who coupled with innovative strategies went on to take first place and half a million dollars. Since then Alliance has won more tournaments, and is famous amongst the Dota 2 community.

Dota 2 patch 6.81′ Spring Cleaning ‘ brings tons of changes

It’s been months since we last saw a major Dota 2 patch released by Valve, but it looks like the wait is almost over. The Spring Cleaning update comes with lots of bug fixes, interface and inventory changes, and a ton of gameplay balance. A lengthy changelog was posted a few days ago on the official blog in preparation for patch 6.81 that’s scheduled to go live this week. We’ll talk a little about some of the most important changes that come with the update, but if you want to check out the whole thing you can view the full patch notes here .

Axe: “Counter Helix now uses Pseudo Random chance”. This means that you are less likely to get those massive lucky streaks where Counter Helix procs four or five times in a row, it also means that you are less likely to get the unlucky streaks where it doesn’t proc at all. Counter Helix proc chance still 17%. Legion Commander‘s Moment of Courage was changed the same way.

Chaos Knight: “Phantasm now has a 50% chance to create one extra illusion when cast”. CK hasn’t seen that much play ever since the IO nerf so I’m guessing this buff is aimed at bringing him back into the spotlight as a late game carry that doesn’t require a combo with Wisp. Phantasm summons three illusions at level 3, now there’s 50% chance that it will summon four, and if you have a Manta that means you can go up to six. Without AoE, there are very few heroes that can deal with something like that late-game.

Earthshaker: 1. “Creeps no longer try to path around Fissure; they will wait for it to disappear”. ES wont be doing the famous creep wave stacking anymore, it was fun while it lasted though. 2.”Echo Slam no longer ignores units that are invisible or in Fog of War”. Finally some common sense! Any unit in the ulti’s area should be affected, visible or not, a very welcomed change.

Huskar: “Burning Spears is no longer a Unique Attack Modifier” Ursa‘s Fury Swipes was changed the same way. Seeing either of the two heroes with something like a Desolator or Satanic will be incredibly scary.

Keeper of the Light: “Added Aghanim’s Scepter upgrade: Provides permanent Spirit Form. Additionally, the following effects are active during the day: Keeper of the Light gains unobstructed vision and Illuminate heals allies for 75% of the damage values”.

Lich: “Aghanim’s Scepter Chain Frost no longer has a bounce limit”. This might turn out to be a little unbalanced, I assume they will tweak it some more in future updates.

Shadow Demon: “Added Aghanim’s Scepter upgrade: Demonic Purge cooldown replaced with two charges that have a 40 second replenish time”.

Vengeful Spirit: “When Vengeful Spirit is slain, her killer is inflicted with a negative Vengeance Aura, which decreases the damage of her killer and their nearby allies, until she revives”. You now have an excuse for feeding with VS! The damage reduction of the negative aura is based on the normal Vengeance Aura and has a 900 range aoe.

Other changes include: Roshan base armor increased by 1, Meepo no longer available in Ability Draft, health regen aura for the Pipe of Insight, new treasure chests and much, much more. DotA Theme Manager V4 – Cambiar el terreno de DOTA

DotA Theme Manager V4 es un utilitario que te permitirá cambiar el estilo del terreno de DOTA, además de modificar la interfaz del juego y el puntero del mouse se personalizará. (Solo en el estilo ” Hell ” se cambiará el color del ancestro protector que en lugar de ser de color verde será morado )

Todo esto sin ningún problema cuando quieras jugar en cualquier servidor online, la razón es porque este programa reemplaza las imágenes de tu Warcraft por unas personalizadas y por esto solamente tu podrás apreciar el cambio de terreno. Es como las HUD de dota 2, con la cual puedes cambiar el Skin del juego.

NOTA: Personalmente recomiendo los Estilos “Beach” y “Hell” que se ven muy profesionales, pero cada uno tiene sus propios gustos y puedes probar todos los estilos para ver cual tu prefieras.

INSTALAR DOTA TEHEM MANAGER V4

1.- Una vez descargado el archivo, pasaremos a extraerlo. Para esto presionamos clic derecho y luego seleccionamos en “extraer aquí“.

2.- Se extraerá una carpeta con el nombre de “Dota Theme Manager“, lo siguiente que debemos hacer es copiar esta carpeta. Como cambiar idioma al dota 2

3.- Pegamos la carpeta en nuestra carpeta de Warcraft II, es mi caso la dirección es esta: C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft III

4.- Una vez pegado la carpeta, la abrimos y pulsamos clic derecho en el archivo DTMV4.exe”, se desplegará un menú, en el cual presionamos en “Ejecutar como administrador“.

COMO USAR EL DOTA THEME MANAGER

5.- Ahora debemos escoger el terreno que más nos guste, luego pulsamos en el botón que esta al costado de cada estilo.

NOTA: En la parte superior están 2 botones “Pandaren UI” y “Demon UI” estos son 2 estilos que solo cambian el skin de los controles de Warcraft, pero no cambia el terreno del juego. (Pandaren UI es el mismo que el estilo Beach pero sin cambio de terreno, Demon UI es el mismo que el estilo Hell pero sin cambio de terreno)

6.- Una vez que elijas un estilo tendrás que esperar unos segundos para que los cambios se realicen, y luego el terreno estará modificado. Puedes cerrar el programa o también pulsar el botón “Start WC3 TFT” para iniciar nuestro Warcraft III.

7.- Por último, si quieres cambiar tu Warcraft a como estaba antes, osea desinstalar este programa lo único que tienes que hacer es pulsar en botón “Restore” y con esto tu WC3 estará como antes sin ninguna modificación.

IMPORTANTE: Es muy importante pegar la carpeta “Dota Theme Manager” en tu carpeta de Warcraft III, ya que si no lo hace el programa no funcionará.
– No es necesario Abrir el programa para que funcionen los cambios, una vez que eliges un estilo este se queda sin la necesidad de estar ejecutando el Dota Theme Manager. Solo tienes que abrir el programa cuando quieras escoger otro estilo o quieres desinstalarlo.
